Michael is survived by his son, Tobias Hoffman, the mother of his son Erin Hoffman, his biological father Michael Kent Hoffman, his step father Ed Dean of Mishawaka, and his brothers Zachary (Laura) Dean and Dave Dean. His mother, Debra Dean preceded him in death on October 8, 2021.

Michael loved Halloween and worked as an effects specialist and makeup artist at Legend’s Scream Park during the season. He also enjoyed acting and creating custom graphic designs which he displayed on his car. He recently finished customizing his car with the Resident Evil theme and was proud to be noticed while driving it around town.
